My CT scans were done yesterday morning and I saw Dr. Keohan yesterday afternoon. The liver hypodensity appears to be a cyst, and there may be two other cysts in the liver, but she remains unconcerned and said liver cysts are common. She will keep an eye on three 2-3mm "nodules" seen in my right lung -- one at the top, one in the middle and one at the bottom. They are extremely small and didn't change in appearance when the contrast material was injected (nor did the liver hypodensity). They were not noted on previous CT scan reports, but she will check the films. As far as she is concerned, I remain NED and don't need to return for another three months. My next scans are scheduled for the beginning of December.
I have a follow-up with Dr. Healey next month, so I'll be back soon.
